Austrian man seeks deal over Jagger ring reward

VIENNA -- An Austrian millionaire who found the lost 200,000-euro ring of pop culture icon Bianca Jagger has agreed to negotiate a settlement over her refusal to pay him a reward, his lawyer said Monday.

Reinhard Ringler is suspending the lawsuit he filed against the ex-wife of Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger to find a deal over the unpaid 10,000 euro (US$12,788) reward, said the lawyer, Paul Kreuzberger.

The two sides agreed to a three-month period to settle the matter, he said.

Austrian law mandates that Jagger pay Ringler, a wealthy entrepreneur, five percent of the ring's value.
