Former ‘American Idol’ runner-up McPhee weds

The pair married Saturday in Beverly Hills, McPhee’s representative, Justin Gray Stone, told People Magazine.

“(Nick) is the love of my life,” McPhee said. “This is a once in a lifetime occasion and everything is just perfect.”

A message left Sunday with McPhee’s agent was not immediately returned. Attempts to find a phone listing for Stone were not successful.

McPhee, 23, and Cokas, 42, met in 2005. Their relationship blossomed when McPhee auditioned for “American Idol” later that year, according to People. They got engaged last year.

Fellow season-five “American Idol” contestants Kellie Pickler and Mandisa were among the 305 wedding guests. McPhee lost the “Idol” final sing-off to Taylor Hicks.
