Back-and-forth continues over No. of Cup matches
The battle at the Presidents Cup began Tuesday even before the first match. U.S. captain Jay Haas still doesn't understand why the number of matches was reduced from 34 to 30 for this year's event, meaning he has to sit eight players over three days of team matches.
A clutch of the world's best golfers are playing to a different beat at the first Presidents Cup in Asia this week -- the constant drone of cameras clicking and phones ringing.

Spieth wins Tour Championship to cap off big season
Jordan Spieth treated the Tour Championship as if it were a major. He played like it was, too. Looking for a fitting finish to a sensational season, Spieth poured in putts from all over East Lake and never gave Henrik Stenson or anyone else much of a chance Sunday. His final stroke was an 8-foot par putt that was right in the heart for a 1-under 69, and he leaned back with a smile of pure satisfaction.

Budsabakorn Sukapan wins CTBC Ladies Open
Thailand's Budsabakorn Sukapan bested her compatriot Pavarisa Yoktuan yesterday to win the 2015 CTBC Ladies Open at Taiwan's Orient Golf & Country Club. The victory was worth NT$1 million.
